This Damascus 8" carving knife is ideal for cutting thin cuts of meat, including poultry, roasts, ham, and other large cooked meats. This carving knife is much thinner than a chef's knife, allowing for thinner, more precise slices. The blade is constructed of 66-layer Damascus stainless steel with a VG10 high carbon steel core. These knives have very sharp edges, excellent edge retention and a light center balance. Each knife is hand-sharpened to ensure maximum sharpness, right out of the box.
The wooden handle is made of impregnated, dimensionally stable pakka wood, which is strong and durable.
